The Corrupt Casino Bill SB380 WILL LIKELY Be Voted Tomorrow!
Members, Who Want to Vote For The Bill, Are Telling Us They Are Not Hearing From the Christian Community. Is This True?
Today, the House Tourism & Travel Committee met for 15 minutes and, by a voice vote (to avoid accountability), approved SB380. The bill will now head to the full House for a vote.
DO YOU KNOW HOW YOUR REPRESENTATIVE WILL VOTE TOMORROW?
Like the Obamacare bill, don't assume you know how they will vote. The corruption surrounding this bill is extraordinary and the lies the casino bosses are spouting are beyond the pale.
Casino kingpins Ronnie Gilley and Milton McGregor, along with their lobbyists are at this moment walking the halls of the State House, trying to peel off votes.
And, we are hearing that they are saying they HAVE the votes to pass it out of the House.

Despite what you hear from your Senators and Representatives who tell you, "..we want to 'let the people vote' on this issue," DON'T BE FOOLED! FACT: THIS IS NOT A CLEAN "U P OR DOWN" VOTE- SB 380 IS NOT A CLEAN "UP OR DOWN" VOTE: If SB380 goes to the people for a vote -- and they vote it down -- it will NOT shut down casinos. In fact, we will be right where we are TODAY with illegal casinos operating in the state.
- SB 380 IS NOT FAIR: It allows casinos to funnel as much money as they want to legislators...the very people who will decide their rules, regulations and tax rate.
- SB 380 IS NOT SIMPLE: It is simply a "blank check" that lets the Legislature decide, by a simple majority, how many casinos will be allowed, where they will go, who can get licenses, and how strictly (or loosely) the law will be enforced.
- SB 380 IS NOT HONEST: It continues the sham of telling voters they're voting on "bingo" rather than slot machines. Politicians and state governments in EVERY state with legalized gambling get addicted to the easy money and NEVER stay with the status quo, but continue to expand and intensify.
